R Y:
Day 1 - Arrival:
Pick
up at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Cairo.
Day 2 - Cairo: A day of sightseeing: (B,L,)
The
great Pyramids of Giza - the Sphinx and Valley Temple, Solar boat
museum. Optional Evening Nile Dinner Cruise. $48 US Per
Person
Day 3 - Cairo: Second day of sightseeing in Cairo: (B,L,D)
Egyptian
Museum with the treasures of Tutankhamun.Islamic Cairo - the Citadel,
Alabaster Mosque and Palace,The Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
Coptic Cairo - see some of the oldest churches in
Christianity.,Overnight sleeper train to Aswan. (option for
Flight/Hotel $215 US) Dinner is served on the train
Day 4 - Aswan: Check in your Nile cruise, 3 nights cruise : (B,L,D)
Sightseeing
in Aswan. The High Dam - a modern wonder built to prevent Nile
flooding.
Philae temple of Isis goddess of Love and Motherhood. Before sunset
sail
on a Felucca or launch to visit Kitchener Botanical gardens, sail past
the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Time permitting visit a genuine Nubian
Village, sample their bread and see their local crafts.
Day 5 - Aswan: (B,L,D)
Early
morning trip by road Abu Simbul to see the great temple of Ramses and
Queen Nefertari. (3 hours each way) On return relax while sailing after
lunch towards Luxor with 2 stops to visit Kom Ombo & Edfu temples.
Day 6 - Luxor: (B,L,D) Valley of the Kings (3 tombs)
Temple
of Queen Hatshipsuit.The Colossi of Memnon.Opportunity to stroll around
the city with its quaint market places.
Optional Evening Light and Sound Show at Karnak $45 US Per Person

Day 7 - Luxor: Finish sightseeing in Luxor.

Visit the
wonders of ancient Architecture,
Luxor and Karnak Temples. Sound light show
at Karnak temple.
Check in your
hotel in Luxor.
Day 8 - Luxor: Luxor- Dandarah (B,L)
Visit the
Dandarah and Abydos Temples by road
(4 hours each way). Back to hotel
for last night in Luxor.

Day 9 - Luxor - Hurghada: leave to Hurghada (3
hours drive). (B,D)
After breakfast we
will travel to Hurghada by road. The rest of day is free at leisure.
Day 10 / 13 - Hurghada: Red Sea resort with water sports (B,D).
Free at leisure in
Hurghada. Diving, Scuba, snorkelling & Safaro tours are available
upon request.
Day 14 - Hurghada - Cairo: Drive back to Cairo 6 hours. (B,D)
Return to Cairo by
road (6 hours) (Flight upgrade $195 US) Transfer to Hotel. (B)
Day 15 - Cairo: Overnight to Alexandria by Mediterranean. (B,L)
Royal Park and
Palace of Montazah. The Roman amphitheatre.The Catacombs. Photo op at the Citadel
and new Alexandria library. Lunch in seafood restaurant. Drive back to
Cairo.
Day 16 - Cairo: Relax (B).
Day for leisure or
to explore the city in your own.
Day 17 - Cairo - St. Catherine's (B,D).
Travel to St.
Catherine's (7 hours drive) Check in our hotel for dinner and an early
rest for those wanting to climb Mount Sinai to see the sunrise. Climb
Mount Sinai where Moses received the Ten Commandments.
St. Catherines is Closed
on fridays and Sundays plus the Religiuos Holidays like Xmas and so on..
How difficult is
it the climb at St Catharines?
"It takes about 3-4
hours to climb the 7,498-foot peak following the Path of Moses, a
stairway of nearly 4,000 steps."What type of physical condition does
one have to be in? You need to be energetic and strong enough to hike
in the middle of the night for 3-4 hours or you can Just taste the
experience by hiking for an hour and still enjoy the sun set from this
point and then walk back. It is always a good idea to bring a
Flashlight with you as well. You can rent a camel St. Catherines
instead of walking up the mountain. it takes about 4 hours and is $45
US per person
Day 18 - St. Catherine's - Cairo (B)
Visit the famous
Monastery of St. Catherine's. Transfer bsck to Cario (7 Hours by road)
Optional Evening Light
& Sound Show at Karnak $45 US per person
Day 19 - Cairo - Home: (B)
Airport transfer for
safe international departure home.
