Pyramids - $85 per person:
We visit the Great Pyramids at Cheops, the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre,
and Menkaure, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple of King Khafre. Visit
the Solar Boat Museum. (Option to Ride a Camel and enter the small
Pyramid approx $25 US per person) Then we take a visit to a perfumery
and to see how Papyrus was made in the days of the Pharaohs. (L)
2. CAIRO
- Egyptian Museum/Islamic and Coptic Cairo - $85 per person:
Depart for the Egyptian Museum. The guide will relate the stories of
the different kingdoms through the ages and the Tutankhamen Exhibit.
After lunch depart for Islamic Cairo - we start at the Citadel fortress
with a visit to the Mohammed Ali Mosque (the alabaster mosque), and the
Green Mosque. (The Citadel was built by Salah al Dien the greatest
leader of the Moslems after the friends of the prophet, he was a
partner with Richard the Lionheart during the Crusades). Then we visit
Coptic Cairo home of some of the oldest Christian churches. Walk where
Mary and Joseph walked thousands of years ago. Then a visit to the Khan
El Khalili Bazaar before returning to your Hotel.
3. CAIRO - City
Tour - $85 per person:
Take a complete city tour of Cairo from one end to the other. See this
amazing city and its many contrasts between the old and new. This tour
is best done on a Friday, the Islamic day of rest when the traffic is
quieter. We will visit the Gayer Anderson House Museum, the Cairo Tower
and the modern Opera House and hear the story of the 18th and 19th
century city.
4. CAIRO - City
Sites - $85 per person:
Visit the Aqueduct, the City of the Dead, and see the Cairo Walls and
Old City Gates, the Nileometer, the Zegorat(spiral minaret), the
Alazhar Mosque (the Mosque of Cairo), and the Gayer Anderson museum,
finish with a visit to the Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
5. CAIRO -
Shopping & Craft Industries - $85 per person:
Check out the shopping centers from the modern shopping malls to the
open air markets. Witness some of the old Egyptian industries still
flourishing today, Perfume, Papyrus, Silverware, Copper, Pottery and
more. Collect gifts to take home, how about a gold cartouche with your
name in hieroglyphics.
6. CAIRO - 6th
of October & Media Production City - $85 per person:
A new community, set up as a means of relieving Cairo of the massive
congestion and as an example of creating new future communities. Egypt
is a country of contrasts and this will be very evident here with its
Media production city where major films are produced on an ongoing
basis, its golf resorts and look to the future.
7. CAIRO - A
Myriad of Museums - $85 per person:
The Museum of Agriculture, Mohammed Ali Museum, the Abdeen Palace (a
replica of Buckingham Palace, and a museum dedicated to the first half
of the century), Mohammed Mahmud Museum (Anwar Sadat’s previous home
and displaying art work of the likes of Renoir and Picasso).

SAKKARA/MEMPHIS - $99 US per person:
Drive through the countryside to the Sakkara complex for a visit to the
Step Pyramid of Zoser, the first pyramid to be built, and the
surrounding monuments. Your guide will give you details of Imhoteb the
builder and how it was built. Visit the open air Museum at Memphis
where the Colossus of Ramses the II, the largest statue of Ramses the
Great can be seen in the place where it was discovered, see the
Alabaster Sphinx alongside. We stop for lunch in a typical countryside
restaurant where you witness breadmaking before returning to Cairo with
a stop at a local school of carpet making where you will see the nimble
fingered local children weaving carpets and wall hangings.

ALEXANDRIA - $150 US per person:
An early departure for Alexandria, meeting place of Anthony and
Cleopatra, in the north on the Mediterranean Sea. A visit to the
National Museum, the open air Roman amphitheater, the Catacombs and
visit the Citadel from the Islamic period, where they recently found
what they believe is the Palace of Cleopatra. Visit the Bibliotheca the
newly rebuilt Library, built to replace the one burnt down during the
time of Cleopatra. A late lunch before we return to Cairo for a late
arrival.
3. FAYYOUM OASIS
- $125 US per person:
A day tour to Egypt’s largest and most beautiful oasis, Fayyoum, where
you see green in middle of the desert, water mills, the natural lakes
and waterfalls and white crystal desert. Lunch on your own at the oasis
before returning to Cairo.
4. CAIRO-SUEZ-ISMAILIA-PORT
SAID: $150 US per person
A visit to the Suez Canal which runs the 100km between the Red Sea and
the Mediterranean Sea. We visit the cities of Ismailia and Port Said
site of the digging of the canal and the world struggle over this
strategic waterway. (3-4 hours drive each way)

West Bank -Today we drive to the Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the

2. ASWAN - $110 US per person:
Visit the High Dam, and the romantic temple of Philae after we visit
the Unfinished Obelisk in the ancient granite quarries before having
lunch. Today visit by "felucca" (local sailing boat) or Launch to
Elephantine Island, see the Mausoleum of Agha-Khan from the Nile and
visit the Botanical Gardens.

Abu Simbul Temple, the Statue of Liberty of Egypt within its African
