well as their modern capital cities. Take in such world renowned Greek
sites as the Parthenon, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the Temple of
Poseidon. Then travel to the mystical land of Egypt and take in all its
wonders such as Pyramids, Museums and the Sphinx.

I T I N E R A R
Y :
Day 1 - Athens -
Cape Sounion
Arrive
in Athens and transfer to Hotel. o/n
This afternoon we drive along the coast road past the wonderful beaches
of Glyfada and Vouliagmeni Varkiza and a splendid view of the Saronic
Gulf to Cape Sounion - a crowning feature dominated by the spectacular
temple of Poseidon overlooking the Aegean Sea
Day 2 - Athens – Nauplia - Olympia
After
breakfast we drive the coast to ancient Corinth. We stop for
sightseeing then proceed to Mycenae and visit the remains of this
ancient city including the Lioness Gate, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the
Palace. Later we visit the theatre of Epidaurus. Drive through the
Peloponnese area passing the cities of Megalopolis and Tripolis to
Olympia o/n (B)
Day 3 - Olympia - Delphi
Visit
the archaeological site and the museum. Continue to Delphi, passing the
magnificent bridge Rio-Antirio, Naupktos, Itea, arrive in Delphi, o/n

Day 4 - Delphi-Meteora
After
breakfast a visit to the archaeological site and the museum of Delphi.
Continue to Kalambaka (Meteora) o/n (B)
Day 5 - Meteora - Athens
After
breakfast visit 2 of the most important Byzantine monasteries. Depart
for Athens o/n (B)
Day 6 - Athens - Cairo
Today
we visit the tomb of the unknown soldier, the Royal Palace, the
Pantheon Stadium, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Acropolis and
Parthenon, visit the site and the museum, the Thesseum, the Greek
Orthodox Cathedral, Monastiraki Flea Market. Modern Marker, Patission
Avenue, Alexandras Avenue, Vas.Sofia's Avenue, Panepostomiou Avenue,
Academy University, National Library and Omonia Square before
transferring to the Airport for your flight to Cairo included in the
cost. On arrival in Cairo you will be met and transferred to your
hotel.(B)

Day 7 - Cairo
After breakfast a full day of sightseeing the Egyptian
Museum/Pyramids/Sphinx/Valley Temple. (B,L)
Optional Evening Nile Dinner Cruise $48 US per person
Day 8 - Cairo - Aswan
After breakfast another full day tour in Cairo,
visiting Citadel/Mosque/Khan El Khalili/Coptic Churches, transfer for
overnight sleeper train to Aswan. (B,,L,D) Dinner is served on the
train(Flight and Hotel upgrade $215 US per person)

Day 9 - Aswan - Nile Cruise
After Breakfast on
the Train we arrive in Aswan and start our sightseeing with a Felucca
(small sailing boat) or Launch ride to the botanical gardens, on
Kitchener Island, and visit a Nubian village (time permitting). Check
into our Cruise Ship for Lunch. Later we visit the High Dam and the
Philae Temple. On return we sail for Luxor with a stop at Kom Ombo
temple. (B,L,D)
Day 10 - Nile Cruise
Relaxing day sailing
along the fertile Nile Valley with a stop at Edfu Temple. (B,L,D)
Day 11 - Luxor
Today we arrive in
Luxor and start our sightseeing the West Bank - The Colossi of
Memnon/Valley of the Kings (3 tombs) Temple of Queen Hatshipsuit. Later
take the time to walk around this quaint city. (B,L,D)

and Sound Show at Karnak $45 US per person
Day 12 - Luxor - Cairo
Today we visit the
Luxor and Karnak Temples, Overnight sleeper train for Cairo. Dinner is
served on the train(B,L,D) (Flight and Hotel upgrade $195 US per person)
Day 13 - Sakkara
The Step Pyramid of
Zoser and surrounding complex of tombs, Memphis the ancient capital -
statue of Ramses II and Alabaster Sphinx, visit to a carpet school.

Day 14 - Airport Transfer. (B)
