This 21 day tour
combines the classical highlights with opportunities for diving or
relaxing on the Red Sea in both Hurghada and Sharm El Sheik, climbing

1 - Arrival:
Airport meet and greet, Transfer to your hotel
Day
2 - Cairo: (B,L,)
The great Pyramids of Giza - the Sphinx and Valley Temple. Optional
Evening Nile Dinner Cruise $48 US Per Person
Day
3 - Cairo: (B,L,D)
Islamic Cairo - the Citadel, Alabaster Mosque and Palace - The Khan El
Khalili Bazaar.,Coptic Cairo - see some of the oldest churches in
Christianity - Overnight sleeper train to Aswan. (option for flight and
hotel $215). Dinner is served on the train

4 – Aswan – Abu Simbul (B,L,D)
Trip to Abu Simbul by road (3 hours each way) to see the great
temple of Ramses and Queen Nefertari. Check into the Nile Cruise
Day
5 –Aswan: (B,L,D)
The High Dam - a modern wonder built to prevent Nile flooding.Philae
temple of Isis goddess of Love and Motherhood. Sail on a Felucca/Launch
to Kitchener Botanical gardens, Sail past the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Sail
for Luxor

6 – Nile Cruise: (B,L,D)
Relax while sailing after lunch towards Luxor. 2 stops to visit Kom
Ombo & Edfu temples.
Day
7– Luxor: (B,L,D)
Valley of the Kings (3 tombs). Temple of Queen Hatshipsuit. The Colossi
of Memnon.
Optional Sound and Light show at Karnak temple $45 US Per Person

8 - Luxor: (B,L)
Visit the Luxor and Karnak Temples. Luxor Museum. Check in your hotel
in
Luxor.

Day 9 - Luxor -
Dendara/Abydos (B,L)
Visit the Temples of Abydos and Dendara (temple of Hathor, Goddess of
love and music in Ancient Egypt). (4 hours each way by road) Return to
hotel for last night in Luxor.
Day 10 - Luxor - Hurghada: Drive to Hurghada (3-4
hours drive).(B)
After breakfast transfer to Hurghada by air-conditioned bus or van. The
rest of day is free at leisure.

11/12- Hurghada: Red Sea resort with water sports (B)
Free at leisure in Hurghada. Options for Diving, Scuba, snorkeling
&
Safari tours are available upon request.

13 - Hurghada – Sharm El Sheik (B)
Morning transfer by Ferry to Sharm El Sheik (approx 1-2 hours) Transfer
to Hotel. Rest of day at leisure. (As the ferry does not depart daily
it may be necessary to move the schedule around to accommodate the
ferry)
Day
14/15 – Sharm El Sheik (B)
Free at leisure in Sharm El Sheik. Options for Diving, Scuba,
snorkeling & Safari tours are available upon
request.

16- Sharm – St. Catherine’s (B,D).
Travel to St. Catherine's (3 hours drive) Check in our hotel for dinner
and an early rest before rising around 1am to climb Mount Sinai where
Moses received the Ten Commandments to see the sunrise.
St. Catherines is
Closed on fridays and Sundays plus the Religiuos Holidays like Xmas and
so on..
How difficult is it the climb at St Catharines?
"It takes about 3-4 hours to climb the 7,498-foot peak following the
Path of Moses, a stairway of nearly 4,000 steps."
What type of physical condition does one have to be in?
You need to be
energetic and strong enough to hike in the middle of the night for 3-4
hours or you can Just taste the experience by hiking for an hour and
still enjoy the sun set from this point and then walk back. It is
always a good idea to bring a Flashlight with you as well. You can rent
a camel St. Catherines instead of walking up the mountain. it takes
about 4 hours and is $45 US per person

17 – St. Catherine’s – Cairo (B)
Visit the famous Monastery of St. Catherine's and breakfast before
driving back to Cairo (6 hours) with brief stops at Moses Springs, and
a Military Museum. Transfer to Hotel in Cairo.
Day
18 – Cairo (B,L)
A day visit to the Egyptian Museum (2 hours guided the rest of the time
to explore on your own).
Optional Evening sound and light show at Giza $45 US Per Person
Day
19 – Cairo - Alexandria: (B,L)
The Roman Amphitheatre, the Catacombs, the National Museum, the
Citadel. Visit the new Bibliotheca (library) before a late lunch and
return to Cairo.(3 Hours each way by Road)
Day
20- Cairo: Sakkara & Memphis (B,L)
Sakkara - the Step Pyramid of Zoser and surrounding complex of
tombs.Memphis the ancient capital - statue of Ramses II and Alabaster
Sphinx. A short stop at a carpet school to witness the beautiful silk
carpets and woven wall-hangings made by the children

21- Cairo - Home: (B)
Airport transfer for safe international departure home.
